This guide has been developed to introduce the different exemptions available under the Stockholm Convention and the related provisions. The guide describes the exemptions and the procedures to be followed by Parties to use them. Also, the guide links relevant additional information to help Parties determine whether or not to register for specific exemptions, better understand the different steps of the process to register for specific exemptions and thereby seek available benefits to effectively eliminate the reliance on POPs.
